Dr. Homam Ibrahim is the Medical Director of the Structural Heart Clinic and Cardiovascular Research at Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center. He specializes in Structural and Coronary Interventions. The focus of his clinical research is on transcatheter investigational devices and the use of novel markers for tailored antithorombotic therapies following coronary and valve interventions. He serves as a member on the publication committee of SCAI. He has successsfuly completed several device and drug clinical trials as site PI. He Co-authers chapters for CathSAP and ACCSAP. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and editorials in journals such as the Journal of American College of Cardiology and Circulation.
