Dean J. Kereiakes, M.D., FACC, MSCAI is Chairman The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute, Medical Director of The Christ Hospital Research Institute, Professor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, and Professor of Clinical Medicine at Ohio State University. He was valedictorian of his graduating class at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His postgraduate training was at the University of California, San Francisco and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kereiakes has been national/international PI for FDA approval of more than 26 novel technologies and medical devices and has performed more than 30,000 catheterization laboratory procedures. He has published over 1,200 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters, has served as section Editor for Circulation and is currently Deputy Editor for the journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
