Dr. Attizzani is a Full Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and Director of the Valve and Structural Heart Center at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He has been a pioneer in TAVR minimalist approach and his main research interest is TAVR procedure optimization, rythm disturbances post TAVR, coronary cannulation post TAVR, Valve durability and transcatheter valve hemodynamics. Dr. Attizzani has performed over 4000 TAVRs in his career, including several live cases for different congresses worldwide; furthermore, he has helped launch TAVR technology in Japan, Taiwan, Argentina, Brazil, India, and all over US. He has extensively published his research on important peer-reviewed journals.
