Dr. Marat Fudim is an Associate Professor and heart failure cardiologist at the Duke University Medical Center. He completed his medical school in Germany, residency at Vanderbilt and cardiology fellowship at Duke. He currently serves as the Medical Director for the Heart Failure Research Unit, and Heart Failure Remote Monitoring. He won the 2021 American College of Cardiology Douglas Zipes Distinguished Young Investigator Award. His research interest is in the pathophysiology of HF, device based therapies and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction specifically
