Dr Ibebuogu is a Tenured Professor of Medicine and the Director of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis. He is the Director of Structural Heart Disease Interventions at the Methodist University Hospital. Dr. Ibebuogu obtained his medical degree from the University of Ibadan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and underwent Interventional Cardiology/advanced structural heart disease training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/University of Los Angeles, California program. Dr. Ibebuogu serves on several committees of SCAI and ACC. He is a member of the inaugural editorial board of JSCAI journal, and he has authored many peer-reviewed articles. He has served as invited faculty and session chair for various national conferences including ACC and TCT.
