Michael Brener, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University School of Medicine and a practicing interventional cardiologist. His clinical practice focuses on structural heart disease and device-based therapy for heart failure. He is involved in many first-in-human studies evaluating the hemodynamic effects of various interventions and specializes in a research technique called pressure-volume analysis. Dr. Brener also has a faculty appointment at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, where he participates in trial design, event adjudication, and the hemodynamic core laboratory.
