Amr Abbas, is a Professor of Medicine at Oakland University School of Medicine and Director of the Structural Heart Program and Cardiovascular Research at Corewell Health East-William Beaumont University Hospital. He is a clinical and intervententional cardiac, peripheral vascular, and structural heart specialist. He participated in the first TAVR in North America.
Amr has been involved in multiple clinical trials as an international steering committee member, primary/sub investigator. He has authored several manuscripts, edited several books and chapters, and mentored several junior faculty, fellows, residents, and students. Amr has been involved with numerous research projects, educational programs, clinical operative committees, and quality of care programs.
He is currently receiving his Masters of Science in Clinical Operations, Executive Leadership Track from the Harvard Medical School.
