Bradley H. Strauss, MD, PhD

Dr. Bradley Strauss obtained his MD from the University of Toronto in 1982. He completed his Residency Training in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto in 1986 and a Clinical Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in 1988. He completed a PhD on coronary stenting in 1991 from Erasmus University under the supervision of Professor Patrick Serruys.
He is the former Chief of the Schulich Heart Program, Reichmann Chair in Cardiovascular Research and Head of the Division of Cardiology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada. He is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He has founded a CTO start-up company, Matrizyme Pharma, and is developing several interventional cardiology devices. Recently, he founded a new device start-up, RBY Medical. His main interests are interventional cardiology and commercialization of medtech devices.
