Ran Kornowski, MD, FACC, FESC (born in Israel 1960, married +3) is the director of the cardiology department of Rabin Medical Center (RMC) in Petah Tikva, Israel. He is a full Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Tel Aviv University and served as the President of the Israeli Heart Society. (2017-2019) and the Chairman of the Israeli Society of Interventional Cardiology (2009-2013). Prof. Kornowski directs the RMC cardiovascular research institute conducting multiple clinical trials and translational research projects. He received numerous awards and grants for his professional contributions to the field of cardiovascular medicine and published over 800 peer review paper and book chapters. He is a member of several leading cardiology societies worldwide. Professor Kornowski is the the co-inventor and co-dounder of CathWorks, the FFR-Angio company.
