Todd C. Villines, MD, FACC, FAHA, MSCCT is Professor of Medicine and Vice-Chief for Clinical Services of the Cardiovascular Division at the University of Virginia where he is a cardiologist and researcher with a focus in cardiovascular imaging and prevention. Dr. Villines is Past-President of the Society of Cardiovascular CT, immediate-past Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular CT, past-Chair of the American College of Cardiology’s Imaging Section and the Federal Cardiology Section, and prior Chair of the Certification Board of Cardiovascular CT. Dr. Villines has published more than 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 4 books (as primary editor), and 12 book chapters focused primarily on cardiovascular prevention and atherosclerosis imaging using cardiac computed tomography. Dr. Villines also previously served as the Chief Medical Officer of Elucid Bioimaging.
