Dr. Salvatore Colangelo is the chief of Interventional Cardiology Unit at the San Giovanni Bosco Hospital in Turin. He has more than 15 years of experience in this field and he has performed more than 3,500 PCI and more than 6,000 coronary procedure performed as first operator, becoming expert operator in complex PCI/CTO, use of MCS in CHIP patients (Impella, ECMO), treatment of aortic valve disease (TAVI) and proctor for CTOs, rotational atherectomy, functional evaluation (FFR/iFR) and OCT. He was primary investigator or co-investigator in many major international, multicentric, randomized trials performed by the Cardiology Division of the San Giovanni Bosco Hospital.
