Steven Wolff, MD, Ph.D., FACR, is a cardiac radiologist and an internationally recognized expert in cardiovascular MRI. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Duke and completed his radiology residency at John Hopkins. A former Senior Clinical Investigator at the NHLBI, he led its cardiac MRI research program. In New York, he held positions at Columbia and Lenox Hill and founded a private cardiac MRI/CT practice. He has directed 50+ cardiovascular MRI courses and has mentored many residents and fellows. He founded and owns two medical device companies in Wisconsin that make MRI coils and cardiac MRI analysis software. He is inventor on 10+ patents and is coauthor of 70+ peer-reviewed papers.
