Dr. Gagan Kaur is a Resident Physician and the incoming Academic Chief Resident for the 2025-2026 academic year. Since beginning her residency, she has led a Quality Improvement (QI) project focused on reducing congestive heart failure (CHF) readmissions in an underserved community. Additionally, Dr. Kaur has proactively established a Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) curriculum for residents at her program. Her dedication to the field of medicine is evident not only in her patient care but also in her research endeavors. As the resident leader for research, she is overseeing multiple publications, with a primary focus on cardiology. Dr. Kaur aspires to pursue a career as an interventional cardiologist, with the long-term goal of returning to an underserved community to provide specialized care and make a lasting impact.
