Dr. Mahmoud Abdelnabi is a cardiovascular medicine fellow at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He earned his MBBCh and MSc in Cardiology from Alexandria University, Egypt. Before his current fellowship, he finished his internal medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Texas. His research interests include anticoagulation, autonomic dysfunction, valvular heart diseases, and structural heart interventions. His research included the Comparative Study of Oral Anticoagulation in Left Ventricular Thrombi (No-LVT Trial), the 1st RCT comparing Rivaroxaban to warfarin in left ventricular thrombi treatment, among many other publications.
