Samrawit Beyene is a second-year medical student at Howard University College of Medicine. She is currently finishing up her preclinical years and exploring different specialties, including cardiothoracic surgery and interventional cardiology. She is mainly interested in health disparity research. Throughout her undergraduate, masters, and medical school years, she has conducted QI projects, bench research, and human and animal behavioral studies across different fields.
