Stéphane Manzo-Silberman, MD, MSc

Interventional cardiologist, she is consultant at the Institut de Cardiologie at la Pitié-Salpêtrière, Sorbonne University, Paris France. Her area of research are mechanical cardiac support in cardiogenic shock in fundamental research and coronary heart disease in women in clinical research. She led the French Metaregistre, and the WAMIF study (JAHA 2024): the first study describing the characteristic of women under 50 with acute myocardial infarction. Involved in overcoming gender discrimination in patient care as well as interventional careers she participated or led some EAPCI Consensus Document. She is the Chair of the EAPCI Patient Advocacy Committee for the 2024-2026 term.
