Murtuza “Zee” Ali, MD, MBA is a Professor of Medicine at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he practices as an interventional and general cardiologist and serves as the PD for the interventional cardiology fellowship program. He has published over thirty peer-reviewed articles and five book chapters and made numerous media presentations in the local press. He served as the STEMI medical director for the Louisiana Emergency Response Network, where he helped organize the state’s system-of-care for time critical cardiovascular illness. As Vice-Chair of the Heart-Vascular Service Line, Dr. Ali is excited to enhance access to the highest quality cardiac care for the region and community.
