Anezi Uzendu, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern. He specializes in interventional cardiology and cardiac arrest care. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Uzendu completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and gained advanced training through fellowships in cardiovascular medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center, interventional cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and cardiovascular outcomes research at Mid America Heart Institute.
