Dr. Rohan Kalathiya is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology and the Director of Peripheral Interventions at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of Chicago, where he served as Chief Fellow. He stayed for his Interventional Cardiology training and then joined the faculty at University of Chicago, a position he held until he moved to Johns Hopkins in 2023.
Dr. Kalathiya specializes in complex coronary interventions, peripheral interventions, interventional pulmonary embolism therapies, and mechanical circulatory support. He serves as the site PI for the SPYRAL-AFFIRM Trial at Johns Hopkins. He has numerous publications and has launched investigator-initiated studies with a focus on cardiogenic shock and peripheral arterial disease.
