Wissam A Jaber is an interventional cardiologist and professor of medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. He is the medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Emory University Hospital and the program director for the interventional cardiology fellowship. He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut Medical School and trained in internal medicine at Duke University and in cardiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He has been in practice since 2008.
Dr Jaber has led the complex coronary and chronic total occlusion intervention program at Emory for several years. He is an expert in pulmonary embolism interventions and balloon pulmonary angioplasty for CTEPH. He has led and participated in several trials and research projects and authored/coauthored more than 140 manuscripts.
