Dr. James DeVries completed fellowships in interventional cardiology as well as vascular medicine at Dartmouth, followed by an endovascular/peripheral fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans with focus on acute stroke intervention. Returning to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center as a staff physician in 2008, he was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine by the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. In 2015 he was promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine at Geisel and became the director of the interventional cardiology fellowship. He is part of the structural heart team and his clinical practice centers on complex PCI and strcutural heart inteventions His research interests include outcomes following PCI, stroke intervention, and new device clinical trials.
