Dipti Itchhaporia, MD

Dr. Dipti Itchhaporia is an Interventional Cardiologist, Director of Disease Management at Hoag Heart and Vascular Institute, and Clinical Professor at UC Irvine. She made history as the 70th President of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), being the first South Asian American to hold this role. Dr. Itchhaporia has contributed to health equity through the ACC Health Equity Taskforce and the PCORI Advisory Panel. She helped develop California’s Cardiovascular Disease Masterplan and has been involved with the ACC Innovation Committee and World Heart Federation. She hosts the Health Tech Horizons Summit and was featured in the January 2025 Orange County Business Journal Leaderboard.
