Dr Walid Jomaa is an interventional cardiologist and Professor in Cardiology B Department, Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital and Faculty of Medicine of Monastir, Tunisia. He got his MD. degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Sousa (Tunisia) and trained in interventional cardiology at the Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris (France). He is interested mainly in coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes and percutaneous coronary intervention. He has several publications about STEMI management in Tunisia and risk profile and prognosis of coronary artery disease in emerging countries.
