Dr. Mahadevan is currently the of Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Edward Budnitz Distinguished Professor in Cardiovascular Medicine at the UMass Chan School of Medicine and UMass Memorial Health in early 2023. He was previously the Director for structural and adult congential intervention and the William W Parmley Chair at UCSF. Dr. Mahadevan’s clinical research interests include adult congenital and transcatheter valve implantation, pulmonary hypertension in ACHD and intracardiac echo techniques. His basic science research interest includes basis of arrhythmia causation in the tetralogy of Fallot and pulmonary hypertension related to ACHD. He has extensively published in highly ranked peer reviewed journals and is also the author of various book chapters and in Editor in Chief of the recently published book on Adult Congenital Cardiac Interventions.
