Dr Sundar Chidambaram is an interventional cardiologist and endovascular specialist at Kauvery Hospital, Chennai, India. He has completed formal fellowships in interventional cardiology and endovascular interventions. He has good experience in the interventional field and has performed more than 15000 plus procedures. He was instrumental in starting an endovascular intervention program in his present centre.
He has been involved in various research activities. He has a good number of research publications. He also collaborated with IIT Hyderabad and Chennai in the research on FFR studies and miniature impeller pumps. He is in charge of DNB cardiology teaching curriculum in Kauvery Hospital. He plays many roles as a national faculty, organising secretary, co-director and executive member in various national and international conferences. He is a member of the CSI, SCAI and ESC cardiology communities.
