Dr JoAnn Lindenfeld is currently Professor of Medicine a at Vamderbilt Unversity Heart and Vascular Institute.
She is currently the President of the Heart Failure Society of America She served on the FDA Cardiorenal Advisory FDA Circulatory Devices panel. She is actively involved in clinical research in drugs and devices for heart failure, in vascular remodeling and clotting in patients with mechanical circulatory support, and in the evaluation of medical therapy in cardiac transplantation. She is serving and has served on multiple steering committees, DSMBs, and clinical endpoint committees of many large randomized clinical trials in heart failure. She is funded by the NIH and AHA. She has published over 500 original manuscripts, reviews, and book chapters
