Dr. Jonathan Grinstein is an advanced heart failure physician and Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support at The University of Chicago. Dr. Grinstein's main research interest is in developing novel imaging techniques to better optimize Left Ventricular Assist Device Performance and patient outcomes. He is also involved in research to develop a “smart” LVAD that can intuitively adjust its speed based on the physiological needs of the patient.
