Dr. Olga Toleva is an interventional cardiologist and an expert in coronary physiology, microvascular dysfunction and vasomotion coronary disorders. She worked in Canada from 2014 to 2021. She subsequently moved to the US and was an Associate Professor at Emory University in the past 3 years. She is now appointed lead of the advanced coronary physiology and microvascular dysfunction program at the Georgia Heart Institute in North East Georgia Medical Center. Dr. Toleva has a strong interest in Women's Heart Health with clinical work and research related to the diagnosis and therapy of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD), Myocardial infarction without obstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA), Angina with Open Coronary Arteries (ANOCA). Dr. Toleva serves as faculty in several cardiology meetings, and pursues very active clinical, research and teaching career.
