Dr. Richard Krasuski directs the ACHD Center, Hemodynamic Research Program, CTEPH Program and DUCCS; and is Professor of Medicine at Duke University. He received his medical degree from Harvard and completed IM residency at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and cardiology fellowship at Duke. He then served in the US Air Force, where he was Researcher of the Year in 2004 and finalist for the Gold Headed Cane Award for academic, clinical and research excellence in 2005. From 2005 to 2015 he directed the ACHD program at Cleveland Clinic. In 2013 he received the Bruce Hubbard Stewart Award for “ability to combine sensitivity and compassion with knowledge and skill in the practice of medicine.” In fall of 2015 he was recruited back to Duke. He serves on editorials boards or reviews for 25 medical journals and has authored >300 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters and has been an invited professor at >50 medical centers.
