Dr. Robert W. Yeh is Section Chief of Interventional Cardiology and the Director of the Richard and Susan Smith Center for Outcomes Research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Katz-Silver Family Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is an interventional cardiologist specializing in complex coronary intervention, including chronic total occlusion intervention. He leads a National Institutes of Health–funded research group focused on three main areas: the evaluation and comparison of new cardiovascular technologies and therapies in real world setttings; the development of methods to harness the power of clinical data to facilitate the delivery of personalized health care; and the assessment of the intended and unintended consequences of national and regional health policy on cardiovascular health. He is a voting member of the FDA's Circulatory Devices Advisory Panel.
