Dr. Skelding has taught both national and internationally for over 20 years. She was pivotal in radial artery access adoption, investigating, training and teaching TAVR. She was the first woman primary operator and first principal investigator in structural heart disease through work w/TAVR and Watchman procedures. She co-wrote the first white papers on radiation safety for women in the cardiac catheterization laboratory as well as many best practice papers. Has served as principle investigator on numerous clinical trials and authored more than 100 peer reviewed manuscripts. She trained many fellows several of which are now thought leaders whose trajectory began with her guidance. She has been a Service Line Director and started a number of TAVR programs. She is currently the Division Chief of Cardiovascular Services at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas in the Jersey City, NJ Region.
