Dr. Srihari S. Naidu is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Cath Labs and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program at Westchester Medical Center. He is Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College.
His main interests include HCM and alcohol septal ablation, the treatment of cardiogenic shock, and prevention of stroke with PFO closure and LAAO. He is a Past Trustee of SCAI, Founder of SCAI ELM, and Trustee Emeritus of Brown University. He previously served on the ACC Board of Governors, and is on the NY State Cardiac Advisory Committee.
He is an author on the HCM, SIHD and VAD guidelines, and Chaired the SCAI SHOCK Classification in 2019 and 2022. He is Editor of the textbook on HCM, with the 3rd edition to be released in 2/25, and recently published a Best Selling children's book on HCM that was featured on NBC News. Dr. Naidu is on the Executive Committee for SCAI and will be President of SCAI in 2025.
