Dr Stamatios Lerakis is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) in the Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Heart, in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr Lerakis is the Director of Noninvasive Cardiology and the Director of Imaging for Structural and Valve Interventions in the Mount Sinai Health System. He is the Acting Director for the Cardiac CT and CMR Program for the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital. Dr Lerakis interests include the use of multimodality imaging for the planing, performing and following up of patients undergoing structural and valve interventions. He has a 25 year experience in this field and he has guided with imaging multiple first in humans performed interventions.
