Ori Ben-Yehuda, MD, FACC is Professor of Medicine at UCSD and the Director of the Cardiovascular Outcomes Group (CVOG) at UCSD. A graduate of Tel Aviv University, he completed his fellowship in cardiology at the University of California, San Diego. From 1997 to 2011 he was the Director of the Coronary Care Unit at UCSD. He also served as the Deputy Editor of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and was Editor in Chief of Coronary Artery Disease and Deputy Editor of Structural Heart. From 2013-2022 Dr. Ben-Yehuda was the Executive Director of the Clinical Trials Center at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. Dr. Ben-Yehuda's research focuses on trans-catheter valve replacement, outcomes research, and lipid management. He has authored and co-authored over 200 peer reviewed publications.
