Mazen Abu-Fadel, MD, MBA, graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Beirut in 1999. After Graduation, he came to Oklahoma City to finish his post graduate training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. In 2007, Dr. Abu-Fadel joined the faculty at the University of Oklahoma ultimately reaching the rank of Presidential Professor of Medicine. During his tenure at OU he held the position of the Vice Chief of the cardiovascular section and served as the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional cardiology. Mazen served as the Program Director for the interventional fellowship. In August 2019 Dr. Abu-Fadel joined the Oklahoma Heart Hospital Physician Group, one of the largest groups of cardiology in the united states where he also serves as the site director for interventional cardiology training.
