Dr. Szerlip joined the Baylor Scott and White Heart Hospital in Plano in 2013. She is the Medical Director of the Percutaneous Valve Program, which oversees both the large TAVR program as well as the percutaneous mitral and tricuspid programs. She helped start and grow the Structural Heart Fellowship Program in 2015 and in 2019 she helped develop and became the Program Director for the newly formed Cardiology Fellowship. In 2015, she was chosen by The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) to participate in the Emerging Leader Mentorship (ELM) Program. As a member of this highly select group of physicians, Dr. Szerlip participated in a two-year mentorship program designed to further develop her skills as a leader in medicine, ambassador for her specialty, and advocate for her patients. She is currently the Chairmen of SCAI publication committee and is a member of the SCAI Board of trustees.
