Dr. Paul Mahoney is Professor and Chief for Interventional Cardiology, as well as Director of the Structural Heart Program at East Carolina University Health. He has extensive clinical experience in transcatheter aortic, mitral, pulmonic and mitral valve replacement, mitral and tricuspid edge to edge repair, and left atrial appendage closure. Dr. Mahoney has served on multiple national steering and screening committees for structural clinical trials. He is past Co-Chair of Structural Heart Committee for SCAI. He has proctored multiple novel transcatheter platforms and techniques across the US and abroad. He has authored or coauthored hundreds of peer reviewed papers in the medical literature.
