Steven J Yakubov, MD, FACC, MSCAI is recognized nationally as a leader in cardiovascular innovation and research. He has been involved in more than 100 clinical trials to pioneer the latest and most advanced treatment options for cardiovascular disease. Dr Yakubov is the Medical Director of the OhioHealth Research Institute and the John H. McConnell Chair of Advanced Structural Heart Disease and currently the principal investigator on several therapeutic devices for structural heart conditions. As system Chief of the OhioHealth Advanced Structural Heart Disease program, he leads its multidisciplinary team of specialists representing cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, radiology, cardiovascular imaging and anesthesia.
