Dr. Bangalore is an interventional cardiologist and a tenured professor of medicine at NYU School of Medicine. He is the Director of Invasive and Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Director for Adult ECMO, MCS and PERT Programs, Bellevue Hospital. His clinical interests are in complex coronary intervention/CTO/Ultra Low Volume Contrast PCI, MCS and PE. His research interests are in comparative effectiveness studies for cardiovascular disease. Dr. Bangalore has received grants from the National Institutes of Health, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, American Heart Association and from the industry. He has published over 500 articles in leading national and international journals including the NEJM, JAMA, JAMA cardiology, Lancet, Circulation and JACC.
