Sandeep Nathan, MD, MSc is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and faculty at University of Chicago Medicine where he serves as the Medical Director of the Cardiac ICU and the Co-Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. He is an investigator on a number of multicenter and investigator-initiated studies and registries. He has co-authored over 100 original scientific manuscripts, review articles and textbook chapters in the areas of ACS/STEMI, platelet inhibition, percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support. His clinical practice is centered on complex coronary and peripheral intervention, transradial interventions and structural heart disease interventions inclusive of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and mechanical circulatory support in complex PCI and heart failure.
