Gary S. Mintz, MD, is Senior Medical Advisor & TCT Director at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. He is also Senior Scientist & Advisor at MedStar Cardiovascular Research Network. He has authored >1100 articles & >900 abstracts concerning clinical cardiology, cardiac ultrasound, hemodynamics, coronary arteriography, interventional cardiology, & intravascular imaging & physiology. In 2005, Dr. Mintz published the single-author textbook Intracoronary Ultrasound, now translated into Chinese. Dr. Mintz received the Master of the Masters Career Achievement Award, TCTAP-Cardiovascular Summit2014, Seoul, Korea; Chien Foundation Outstanding Lectureship & Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015; Outstanding Achievement Award at CBS2017, Nanjing, China; Career Achievement Award at NFIC2018, Krakow, Poland, and Jiangsu Friendship Award in 2020 from People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, China.
