Dr Shrilla Banerjee is an Interventional Cardiologist at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. Her interests are in coronary artery disease prevention and intervention, and CVD in Women. She has published on appropriateness of CABG and PCI, and more recently in the disparities in the delivery of cardiac care during the Coronavirus Pandemic. She has served as an elected Council Member of the British Cardiovascular Interventional Society Committee and was Chair of the Focus Group concerning Women in Interventional Cardiology. Dr Banerjee has a special interest in Aviation Cardiology, and is active in teaching on national Interventional courses.
